U.S. Exports Reach Highest Recorded Level, Trade Deficit Shrinks (Fox Business)
U.S. exports reached $192.7 billion in October, which is the highest level ever recorded, and the trade gap fell to $40.6 billion. Exports rose 1.8% from $192.7 billion from September to October, while imports rose only 0.4% to $233.3 billion. Combined with good factory production news from both Europe and China, this would appear to point to a stabilizing global economy which can help propel the shaky U.S. factory further.
