ETF Asset Class: Bond

ETFs, or exchange traded funds, are a type of investment vehicle that provides exposure to a particular asset class, sector, or region. ETFs trade on stock exchanges and can be purchased and sold throughout the day like a stock. Bond ETFs offer investors exposure to the bond market, without the need to purchase individual bonds. Bond ETFs can track a specific bond index, such as the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Bond Index, or they can focus on a specific type of bond, such as corporate bonds or government bonds. ETFs provide an easy and cost-effective way to gain exposure to the bond market, and can be an attractive option for both experienced and novice investors.
