Yesterday was a huge day for this week’s Global Bull Market Alert pick, Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S.A. (Chemical & Mining Company of Chile) (SQM). It soared more than 12% just yesterday. The stock is now up a whopping 26.13% since Monday. (Too bad there weren’t any options on this one!). Sell half of your stock here to lock in these remarkable short-term gains. Hold on to the rest of your holdings but expect some volatility ahead.
Meanwhile, NII Holdings (NIHD) also jumped this week, and your options now are up 107.67%. Sell your remaining options here to lock in your first set of triple-digit percentage gains this month. Hold on to the stock for now and keep an eye out for new options that I’ll be recommending in the coming weeks.
Your Global Stock Investor portfolio had a mixed week. Potash (POT) had a strong run, hitting near record highs, and now is up 93.04% since October. ArcelorMittal (MT) received an upgrade, as did iShares MSCI Brazil Index (EWZ), while the weakening oil and commodities prices hit Sasol (SSL), Transocean (RIG) and the Elements Rogers International Commodity ETN (RJI). Look for your dividend payment from Millicom international (MICC) on June 9. All o
