Google’s Android OS Headed to Cars (The Verge)

Google, GM, Honda, Audi, Hyundai and Nvidia announced the Open Automotive Alliance. This group will focus on bringing the popular mobile operating system (OS) to in-car entertainment systems. The group’s first project is to develop new features for Android that create a safe-to-operate car mode for Android aps.
